Nadjia Makhlouf is the director of a trilogy of documentaries called “Algeria, Algerian Women” of which the first part, ”Allah Ghaleb” (Nothing you can do about it) was published in March 2011. This film describes the lives of three Algerian women of the same family between the ages of 25 and 55 with their interrogations, their hopes and their pains. She prepares at the moment the second part of this series of documentaries: “Moudjahidat” (War veteran women) which will draw the portrait of a war veteran woman living in Alger.
Nadjia will be projecting “Allah Ghaleb” at the association “Ni putes ni Soumises” on January 25 at 7:30PM, 20 rue des Rigoles, 75020 Paris, M° Jourdain. More info
